The need for Collaborative approach and The Power of Special Parenting

The Power of Collaborative Therapy

A significant feature responsible for our great learning has been the continous engagement and persistent parenting hours at home and during the therapy hours that we had with all the therapists with whom we worked for our Twin Boys. Our journey with our twin boys highlighted the profound impact of active parental involvement during the overall learning process. Rather than passively observing, we consistently engaged with our twins,  participating in detailed discussions about the activities, approaches, and strategies employed. This continuous dialogue enabled us to understand (i) Child Psychology (ii) the “why” behind each therapeutic choice, fostering a deeper understanding of our sons’ needs and progress. We actively contributed to improvising strategies, ensuring the best possible learning outcomes tailored to our sons’ unique skill sets. This experience underscores the transformative power of collaboration in therapy, showcasing how active caregiver participation can significantly enhance results.
